About Us

The aim of our project is to develop personal and international personalities through music and to discover the impact of musical and cultural heritage of each country involved in the project on European culture.
The impact on pupils after participating in the project is that they are more informed about the relation between music and their own personality. Through this they will have a good understanding of how European music is important to keep on developing their musical identities. The local community and the educational system from the schools will be affected because the pupils will understand better how to preserve their own cultural identity cheering the music.
The project will also provide teachers to interact with pupils on a more individual level, trying different, modern and innovative teaching methods using music and sharing own experiences.

Every school aims to develop pupils interest in preserving and sharing their musical heritage through interaction with other people. The role of each school is presented and the main part is played by pupils because they investigate, show, share, preserve and develop their findings through inter-cultural dialogue. We believe that young people are able to know how their cultural musical heritage influenced and will influence their European identity and the motivation to learn selected languages.
We hope that the created boundaries with pupils across Europe will make a new better world with the help of this genuine, unique experience through music.

Also we hope with help of this project  to integrate the ethnic groups with their cultural especially musical features in educational system from the local dimension to European dimension promoting social cohesion without racism and xenophobia, provide situations for students to become "global citizens".
According to the large number of pupils attending each school we have a cultural diversity mixture and it was proposed the role of each school in the common activity of the project, choosing the team, both teachers and pupils with their personal needs and skills important for this project. Beside the project team, which is planning delivering activities and will also be responsible for disseminating information, there are also more than 700 pupils involved indirectly from all the participating schools.
The dissemination process will be done through e-mails, blog, presentation, newspaper articles, reports and methodological teachers activities.

The Concrete Objectives of our partnership is:
1. Elaboration of materials for the European Musical Portfolio.
2. Establish a Common European Frame of Reference.
3. Execute Common activities about to the musical identity of each school (typical instruments, songbooks, dances…)
